February 28, 2001 Manuel Lujan KERMIT Manuel G. Lujan, 51, of Kermit, a laborer for Schlumberger Oil Co., died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at his residence. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at the Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. He was born in Mexico and was a resident of Kermit for 19 years. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Wife, Socorro Lujan of Kermit; son, Jose Lujan of Kermit; daughter, Martha Lujan of Kermit; brothers, Elisteo Lujan, Celesteo Lujan, Shashi Lujan and Pablo Lujan, all of Mexico, Marcelino Lujan and Juvencio Lujan, both of Kermit; and sisters, Librada Lujan and Maria Lujan, both of Mexico. W.H. Machen ODESSA W.H. "Bill" Machen, 79, of Odessa, a retired shop foreman for Montgomery Trucking Co., died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. He was born in Munday and was a resident of Odessa since 1952. He was an Army veteran of World War II. SURVIVORS: Wife, Jean Machen of Odessa; sons, Willard Machen of Devine, Bobby Machen of Grand Prairie and Don Machen of Odessa; four stepchildren; brother, Tom Machen of Snyder; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Sibyle Reynolds ODESSA Sibyle Inez Cox Reynolds, 81, of Odessa died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at her residence.
