     ODESSA Jose "Chema" Botello, 68, of Odessa, a retired maintenance
      worker for a car dealership, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at his
                                 residence.
                                      
   Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church
    with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Rose
    Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial
                                  Chapel.
                                      
                   He was born in Bruni. He was Catholic.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Frances N. Botello of Odessa; sons, Johnny Botello,
    Micheal Botello, Daniel Botello and Jose Botello Jr., all of Odessa;
     daughters, Belinda B. Rodriguez, Melba Botello, Janie B. Leyva and
            Lori Patino, all of Odessa; 21 grandchildren; and 15
                            great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                 Pat Carver
                                      
    ODESSA Pat Carver, 72, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Feb.
                        28, 2001, at Hospice House.
                                      
      Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Asbury Methodist
            Church. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                      
            She was born in Great Bend, Kan. She was Methodist.
                                      
      SURVIVORS: Son, Mike Sparks of Odessa; daughter, Carol Gregg of
                      Odessa; and five grandchildren.
                                      
                               Benito Garcia
                                      
   MARATHON Benito Mata Garcia, 86, of Odessa, a retired employee of Hess
      Ranch, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
   Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Marys Catholic Church.
        Burial will follow at the Marathon Cemetery. Arrangements by
                        Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                      
       He was born in Marathon and moved to Odessa in 2000 from Fort
                         Stockton. He was Catholic.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Wife, Dolores Garcia of Odessa; sons, Arturo Garcia of
    Odessa and Manuel Garcia of Midland; daughters, Mary Lou Mitchell of
    Odessa and Gracie Fierro of Arlington; brother, Margarito Garcia of
     Midland; sisters, Maria Rios and Doria Estrada, both of Carlsbad,
         N.M.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three
                         great-great-grandchildren.
                                      
                              Sibyle Reynolds
                                      
     MENARD Sibyle Inez Cox Reynolds, 81, of Odessa, a homemaker, died
                  Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at her residence.
                                      
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Episcopal Church with
    the Rev. Robert Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven
              Cemetery. Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home.
                                      
               She was born in Menard. She was Episcopalian.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Daughters, Carolyn K. Montgomery of Odessa, Bonnie Childers
    of Menard and Penny Tharp of Canon City, Colo.; five grandchildren;
                       and eight great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Howard Gage
                                      
   BIG SPRING Howard Gage, 66, of Odessa died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at
              Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring.
                                      
          Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
                                      
                                Ronald Moore
                                      
     ODESSA Ronald Graham Moore, 71, of Odessa died Wednesday, Feb. 28,
                     2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
