William Zoulek ALPINE William "Bill" Lee Zoulek, 73, of Fort Davis, a retired chemical engineer, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at a local hospital. Lela Johnson ODESSA Lela Johnson, 98, of Odessa, a retired minister, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born in Mansfield, La., and was a longtime Odessa resident. Carpenter, 87, a retired employee of Shell Oil Co., died Thursday, April 5, 2001 at Oak Ridge Manor in Brownwood. A second service is planned at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crescent Park Baptist Church in Odessa with the Rev. Johnny Dickerson officiating. Arrangements by Heartland Funeral Home. He was born in Sangamon County, Ill., and moved to West Texas in 1932. He was Baptist. He came to Odessa in 1978 from Killeen. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was Baptist.
