      Saturday, April 14, 2001, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
                                      
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Chapel in Kermit
   with the Rev. David Weyant officiating. Burial is at Kermit Cemetery.
                 Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.
                                      
                She was born in Sherman. She was Methodist.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Son, A. F. Hughes Jr. of Kingwood; daughter, Sue Jane Hale
       of Lubbock; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Ida Shelton
                                      
     MONAHANS Ida Shelton, 93, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Thursday,
                 April 12, 2001, at Odessa Medical Center.
                                      
      Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Southside Baptist Church in
   Monahans with Craig Rhotan officiating. Burial is at Monahans Memorial
               Cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
                                      
              She was born in Coleman, Colo. She was Baptist.
                                      
                 SURVIVORS: Son, J.K. Shelton of Monahans.

     FREDERICKSBURG Katy Borron, 79, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday,
                     April 14, 2001, in Fredericksburg.
                                      
    Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Imperial Cemetery in
              Imperial. Arrangements by Beckmann Funeral Home.
