                              Herbert Dannels
                                      
    SEMINOLE Herbert Samuel Dannels, 80, of Seminole, a foreman for Iowa
   Power and Light, died Friday, April 20, 2001, at Memorial Hospital in
                                 Seminole.
    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ave. B Church of Christ,
     with Chris Jones and Tommie Roberts officiating. Burial will be at
   Garrett Cemetery in Delta, Iowa. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home in
              Seminole and Bates Funeral Home in Delta, Iowa.
                        He was born in Haxton, Colo.
     SURVIVORS: Wife, Eunice Dannels of Seminole; sons, Gary Dannels of
   Beacon, Iowa, and Perry McGuire of Seminole; daughters, Carolyn Wyatt
      of Oskaloosa, Iowa, and Flo Singleton of Seminole; brother, Don
    Dannels of Newton, Iowa; sisters, Dorothy Asher of Albia, Iowa, and
           Bonnie Lenox of New Sharon, Iowa; 17 grandchildren; 18
          great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
