     MIDLAND A.O. "Shine" Avary Jr., 85, of Barstow, a retired rancher,
       died Saturday, April 28, 2001, at Terrace West Nursing Center.
                                      
   Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Barstow Cemetery
         with the Revs. J.R. Wooten and Erine Waggoner officiating.
                    Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
                                      
   He was born in Barstow. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was
                               Presbyterian.
                                      
      SURVIVORS: Wife, Bobbie Avary of Barstow; and several nieces and
                                  nephews.
                                      
                              Antonia P. Garza
                                      
     ODESSA Antonia Prieto Garza, 75, of Odessa, a employee of Manuels
       Tortilla and Tamale Factory, died Saturday, April 28, 2001, in
                                  Midland.
                                      
     Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic
     Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be
    said at 7 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Burial will follow at
    Rosehill Cemetery in Odessa. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
                                      
               She was born in Delta, Colo. She was Catholic.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Daughters, Frances G. Rodriguez of Midland and Susie G.
        Mireles of Odessa; sister, Soledad Belarde of Phoenix; five
               grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
                                      
                           Charles F. Gibson III
                                      
   ODESSA Charles Frederick "Fred" Gibson III, 60, of Odessa, a member of
    the board of directors of the Permian Basin International Oil Show,
         died Saturday, April 28, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
   Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church
   with the Rev. David C. Mindel officiating. Masonic graveside services
   will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly
                               Funeral Home.
                                      
                  He was born in Texon. He was Christian.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Judie Gibson of Odessa; son, Dean Gibson of Brady;
   daughter, Beth Ann Kelm of San Antonio; mother, Louise Gibson Jones of
    San Angelo; sister, Rhonda Cuthbirth of Houston; four grandchildren;
                              and one nephew.
                                      
                              Grace M. Zeigler
                                      
     ROWLETT Grace Mae Zeigler, 93, of Rowlett died Saturday, April 28,
                      2001, at a Rowlett nursing home.
                                      
   Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral
   Home Chapel with the Rev. J.T. Pugh officiating. Burial will follow at
    Sunset Memorial Garden. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                      
                She was born in Anson. She was Pentecostal.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Son, Clifford "Tip" Martin Zeigler of Odessa; daughters,
      Marjorie Lafon of New Madrid, Mo., and Martha Shedd of Rowlett;
   brother, William "Bill" Anderson of Odessa; sister, Kathy Anderson of
   Odessa; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great
                               grandchildren.

    ODESSA Francisco Rodriguez Sr., 57, of Odessa died Sunday, April 29,
                     2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
               Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home.

   ODESSA Philip ONeill, 76, a physician, of Odessa died Saturday, April
                   28, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
