                              Valerie Anderson
      HOLLYWOOD, Fla. Valerie Tyann Anderson, 53, of Odessa, a retired
        employee of the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in St.
       Augustine, Fla., died Monday, June 4, 2001, at her residence.
       Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant African
    Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial will be at Red Hunters Hollywood
     Memorial Park. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
      She was born in Waterbury, Conn., and had been a resident of New
            Haven, Conn. She was African Methodist Episcopalian.
    SURVIVORS: Husband, Bobby Anderson of New Haven; daughters, Michelle
     Jarnagin and Karen Gates, both of Odessa, and Bridget Anderson of
         Miami; mother, Lillian Evans of New Haven; and a grandson.
                              Joeyanne Garcia
      ODESSA Joeyanne Garcia, an infant, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at
                         Odessa Regional Hospital.
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery with
   the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly
                               Funeral Home.
     SURVIVORS: Parents, Joe and Diane Garcia Jr. of Odessa; brothers,
   Jonathan Paul Llanez, Joe Albert Garcia III and Joshua Patrick Garcia,
       all of Odessa; grandparents, Margie Baker of Midland, Lucinda
    Martinez, Antonio Martinez and Joe Albert Garcia Sr., all of Odessa;
   and great-grandparents, Gonzala Trejo and Manuel Martinez Gomez, both
                                 of Odessa.
                               George Rodgers
    MONAHANS George Jay Rodgers, 71, of Monahans, a cabinet maker, died
                     Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in Odessa.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Grace Fellowship with Mark Bristow
         officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
                    Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
   He was born in George West and was a lifelong resident of Monahans. He
                            was an Army veteran.
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Madeline Rodgers of Monahans; daughter, Val Wheeler
    of Farmington, N.M.; sisters, Joyce Cummins of Monahans and Jeannie
           Craig of Bartlesville, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
                               R.A. Weber Jr.
       ODESSA R.A. Slim Weber Jr., 74, of Gardendale, a retired heavy
     equipment operator, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at Hospice House.
     Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson
    Funeral Directors with the Rev. Charles Thornton officiating. Burial
      will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Center City Cemetery in Goldthwaite.
             Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
   He was born in Utopia and had been a resident of Hondo. He was an Army
                                  veteran.
     SURVIVORS: Wife, Susie Marks Weber of Gardendale; daughter, Tanya
    Weber of Carlsbad; and sisters, Jonell Reasonover and Mary Anderson,
                            both of San Antonio.
                              Jesusita Huerta
    ODESSA Jesusita Maria Huerta, 85, of Odessa died Wednesday, June 6,
                     2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
   Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
                               Debra Kirkland
    ODESSA Debra Kirkland, 25, of Odessa died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at
                               her residence.
           Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                Cecil Turner
   ODESSA Cecil Gene Turner, 58, of Odessa died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at
                          Medical Center Hospital.
              Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.
