                               Billie Gibson
   ODESSA Billie G. Gibson, 80, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, June
                            11, 2001, in Odessa.
      Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial
           Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
   She was born in Bell County and was a resident of Odessa for 47 years.
                              She was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Son, John McDonald of Odessa; daughters, Betty A. Brown and
   Shelley Gibson McDonald, both of Odessa, Missy McDonald of Huntsville
          and Doris McDonald of Hilo, Hawaii; a grandchild; and a
                             great-grandchild.
                                Bessie Laird
   HAMLIN Bessie A. Laird, 87, of Snyder, a homemaker, died Monday, June
                   11, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
     Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Hamlin Cemetery.
              Arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
    She was born in Coleman and moved to Snyder in 1975 from Hamlin. She
                                was Baptist.
      SURVIVORS: Son, Raymon Laird of Odessa; daughter, Pat Manlief of
       Snyder; sister, Wilma Crump of Midland; brother, Tom Martin of
         Midland; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
                               Curtis Pitkin
    ANDREWS Curtis R. Pitkin, 71, of Andrews, a retired master mechanic
   for Northern Gas Co., died Monday, June 11, 2001, at Memorial Hospital
                       and Medical Center in Midland.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church with
      the Rev. Bob Zap officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews Old
               Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
     He was born in Clear Lake, Iowa, and moved to Andrews in 1957 from
                                   Iowa.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, LuElla Pitkin of Andrews; sons, Mike Pitkin and Greg
   Pitkin, both of Andrews, and Alan Pitkin of Midland; daughters, Nancy
   Hotchkin of Odessa and Joan Thompson of Andrews; 12 grandchildren; and
                          six great-grandchildren.
                                Jesse Raper
   MONAHANS Jesse Raper, 78, of Monahans, a retired oilfield pumper, died
       Monday, June 11, 2001, at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel with
      Bob Porterfield officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial
               Cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
    He was born in Sapulpa, Okla., and was a resident of Monahans since
              1967. He was a Marines veteran. He was Baptist.
      SURVIVORS: Wife, Karin Raper of Monahans; sons, Garold Raper of
     Flagstaff, Ariz., and Mike Raper of McCallister, Okla.; daughters,
     Peggy Bradford of Sapulpa and Lynda Newport of Midland; brothers,
    Billy Fowler of Jenks, Okla., and Johnny Fowler of Tucson, Ariz.; 14
                grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
                              Charlotte Wright
     MIDLAND Charlotte Eclaire Wright, 78, of Midland, a retired legal
   secretary for Atlantic Richfield Co., died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at
                             a local hospital.
     Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Anns Catholic
    Church with the Rev. T.J. Murphy officiating. Arrangements by Ellis
                               Funeral Home.
               She was born in Fort Worth. She was Catholic.
                  SURVIVOR: Niece, Sharon Evans of Sonora.
                               L.Z. Hallmark
   ANDREWS L.Z. Hallmark, 78, of Andrews died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at
                               his residence.
               Services are pending with McNett Funeral Home.
