                             Altha Chamberlain
      ODESSA Altha Ethel Chamberlain, 95, of Odessa, a homemaker, died
            Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
      Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home
   Chapel with Chuck Claburn officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Monday
         in Ballinger. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
             She was born in Richland Springs. She was Baptist.
      SURVIVORS: Sons, Bernie Powell of Jacksonville, Ark., and Victor
   Powell of Mesquite; daughters, Yvonne Sanford of Odessa and Wanda Barr
   of Branson, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two
                         great-great-grandchildren.
                               Albert Foster
         PINEDALE, Wyo. Albert J. Foster, 63, of Marbleton, Wyo., a
    construction company superintendent, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, in
                               Pinedale, Wyo.
        Services were private. Arrangements by Hudson Funeral Home.
    He was born in Bradford, Pa., and had been a resident of Odessa. He
           was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was Catholic.
     SURVIVORS: Wife, Doolarie Foster of Marbleton; sons, Al Foster of
   Cortez, Colo., and Cody Foster of Colorado; mother, Virginia Foster of
                Odessa; and sister, Patsy Blaskey of Odessa.
                            David Hernandez Jr.
    FORT STOCKTON David Gonzales Hernandez Jr., 21, of Fort Stockton, an
       oilfield floor hand, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, in Ozona.
   Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Agnes Catholic Church
   with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
     Monday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at St.
        Agnes Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
      He was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident. He was
                                 Catholic.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Celina Hernandez of Odessa; daughter, Deanna Rivas of
      Odessa; sons, Juan Corrales and Aaron Corrales, both of Odessa;
       mother, Martha G. Rodriguez of Fort Stockton; stepfather, Juan
    Rodriguez of Fort Stockton; brother, Johnny Dominguez of San Diego;
   sisters, Teri Hernandez Freeman of Clemmons, N.C., and Becky Dominguez
   of Sacebo, Japan; and grandparents, Raymond T. Gonzales and Santas R.
                      Gonzales, both of Fort Stockton.
                              Sherrill Watters
       ODESSA Sherrill Marvin Short Watters, 77, of Odessa, a retired
    maintenance supervisor for Warton Drilling Co., died Wednesday, June
                        13, 2001, at his residence.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel
      with the Rev. Clydell Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at
    Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
    He was born in Alto. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was
                                 Christian.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Ruth Watters of Odessa; sons, Carl Watters of Odessa
     and George Watters of Midland; sister, Sandy McDaniel of Fairview,
            Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
                                 Ben Briley
   ODESSA Ben Alden Briley, 83, of Odessa died Friday, June 15, 2001, at
                               Hospice House.
           Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
