                                Bernice Baze
    ODESSA Bernice Baze, 78, a former employee of Sunshine Laundry, died
                  Friday, June 22, 2001, at her residence.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral
    Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Phillips officiating. Burial will be
     at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral
                                   Home.
    She was born in Fort Payne, Ala. She was a resident of Odessa since
                           1955. She was Baptist.
    SURVIVORS: Daughter, Frances Yarborough of Odessa; brothers, Willard
      Elrod and Noble Elrod, both of Odessa, and Calvin Elrod of Katy;
      sisters, Mamie White of Ashville, N.C., Mozelle Dees of Katy and
       Mildred Sullivan of Alex, Okla.; three grandchildren; and five
                            great-grandchildren.
                              Phyllis Boswell
    ODESSA Phyllis Ann Boswell, 79, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday,
                 June 22, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
    Funeral services will be at noon Monday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church
     with the Rev. Tim Sternberg officiating. Burial will be at Sunset
      Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
   She was born in Indianapolis, Ind. She was a Navy veteran of World War
                                    II.
   SURVIVORS: Husband, Robert G. Boswell of Odessa; sons, Dennis Boswell
   of Fort Worth and Fred Boswell of Waxahachie; daughters, Marsha Graham
      and Patty Stringer, both of Odessa; sisters, Mary Lou Wilcox and
     Katherine Sullivan, both of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and
                        several great-grandchildren.
                               Israel Galvan
   ODESSA Israel Ibarra Galvan, an infant, of Odessa, died Thursday, June
                   21, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
                         He was born June 21, 2001.
     Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Rosehill Cemetery.
                Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
    SURVIVORS: Father, Gustavo Galvan of Juarez, Mexico; mother, Teresa
      DeJesus Ibarra of Odessa; brother, Irvin Galvan of El Paso; and
     grandparents, Eloy Galvan and Margarita Gonzales, both of Juarez.
                            Stella L. Henderson
    ODESSA Stella L. Henderson, 80, died Thursday, June 21, 2001, at her
                                 residence.
   Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home
      Chapel with the Rev. Terry Pugh and Derrick Killim officiating.
                Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                       She was born in Morris, Okla.
     SURVIVORS: Sons, Ronnie Henderson of Odessa and Steve Henderson of
     Denton; daughters, Judy Briley and Dianne Norwood, both of Odessa;
    brothers, Sherman Norwood and Joe Norwood, both of Odessa, and Paul
             Norwood of Chico, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 14
                            great-grandchildren.
                              Geneva F. Renick
    ODESSA Geneva F. Renick, 82, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Thursday,
                         June 21, 2001, in Odessa.
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens
      with the Rev, Jim Ray Brown officiating. Arrangements by Sunset
                           Memorial Funeral Home.
                She was born in Wirt, Okla. She was Baptist.
     SURVIVORS: Son, Samuel Renick of Choctaw, Okla.; daughters, Sharon
   Frye and Bobbye Goodson, both of Odessa; eight grandchildren; and ten
                            great-grandchildren.
                                 Billy Hext
   ODESSA Billy Robert Hext, 61, of Odessa died Wednesday, June 20, 2001,
              at University of Washington Hospital in Seattle.
           Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                               Simona Jacobo
     ODESSA Simona Jacobo, 102, of Odessa died Friday June 22, 2001 at
                           Deerings Nursing Home.
        Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
