                                Walter Butz
   FORT STOCKTON Walter Henry Butz, 89, of Fort Stockton, a retired real
            estate agent, died Monday, July 9, 2001, in Stanton.
   Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Agnes Catholic Church
    with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at East Hill
           Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
    He was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident. He was an
               Army veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.
   SURVIVORS: Daughter, Brenda Gibson of Willis Point; sons, John Butz of
          Conroe and Charles Butz of Midland; 10 grandchildren; 16
          great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
                                Troy Hollon
     STROUD, Okla. Troy Buck Hollon, 81, of Odessa, a retired oilfield
              pumper, died Thursday, June 28, 2001, in Odessa.
   Services were July 2 at the Stroud Church of Christ with Loren Gieger
   officiating. Burial was at the Stroud Cemetery. Arrangements by Parks
                         Brothers Funeral Service.
   He was born in Checotah, Okla. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
                  He was a member of the Church of Christ.
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Marguerite Hollon of Odessa; sons, Larry Hollon of
       Nashville, Tenn., and Rick Hollon of Odessa; daughter, Marilyn
   Sinclair of Lovington, N.M.; sisters, Helen Weems of Andrews and Ruby
           Reagin of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and four
                            great-grandchildren.
                               Angel Renteria
    PRESIDIO Angel M. Renteria, 75, of Presidio, a retired construction
      worker, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Westwood Medical Center in
                                  Midland.
     Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Santa Teresa de Jesus
   Catholic Church with the Rev. Lazaro Gonzalez officiating. Burial will
     be at Desert Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
                      He was born in Almagre, Mexico.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Bertha N. Renteria of Presidio; sons, Andres Renteria
       and Alberto Renteria, both of Odessa, Aurelio Renteria of Fort
       Stockton and Angel Renteria Jr. of Midland; daughters, Arcelia
   Renteria, Aida Ruiz, Anna Gallegos and Aracely Salas, all of Midland,
   and Alma Rosa Ramirez of Odessa; sisters, Carlota Torres of San Juan,
      Puerto Rico, and Antonia R. Carrasco of Odessa; brother, Daniel
           Renteria of Ojinaga, Mexico; 33 grandchildren; and 11
                            great-grandchildren.
                             Eduvijen Rodriguez
    PECOS Eduvijen L. Rodriguez, 80, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Sunday,
                      July 8, 2001, at her residence.
     Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Catherine Catholic
      Church with the Rev. Manuel Munoz officiating. Burial will be at
         Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
                She was born in Valentine. She was Catholic.
     SURVIVORS: Sons, Vicente Rodriguez Jr. and Tony Rodriguez, both of
    Pecos, Joe Rodriguez of Odessa, Ramon Rodriguez and Henry Rodriguez,
     both of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughters, Virginia Rodriguez and Katy
   Barrera, both of Pecos, Lupe Baeza of California and Pauline Sharon of
     Iowa; brother, Tomas Lopez of Van Horn; sister, Petra Gavaldon of
    Pecos; 51 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous
                         great-great-grandchildren.
                                Angela Curry
    ODESSA Angela Kay Curry, 39, of Odessa died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at
                               her residence.
          Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
                                Lucio Florez
    BARSTOW Lucio Florez, 50, of Barstow died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, in
                                  Barstow.
               Services are pending with Pecos Funeral Home.
                                James Herren
   ODESSA James Bill Herren, 71, of Odessa died Monday, July 9, 2001, at
                          Medical Center Hospital.
           Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
