   FORT  STOCKTON  Helen  Jean  Blauw, 53, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker,
   died  Saturday,  July  28,  2001, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital in
   Fort Stockton.
   No services are scheduled. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
   She was born in San Bernardino, Calif.
   SURVIVORS:  Sons,  Richard  Allen Blauw of Albuquerque, N.M., and John
   Blauw  of Deming, N.M.; daughter, Anna Marie Blauw of Deming; brother,
   Daniel  V.  Canas  of  Salt Lake City; sister, Gloria Canas Shipley of
   Ogden, Utah; and a grandchild.

   George Bullard

   PONCA  CITY,  Okla.  George  Earl Bullard, 63, of Ponca City, Okla., a
   retired truck driver, died Sunday, July 29, 2001, at his residence.
   Services  will  be  at  2 p.m. today at Trout Funeral Home Chapel with
   Mike  Sweetman  officiating.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial
   Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Trout Funeral Home.
   He was born in Indian Gap.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Patsy Bullard of Ponca City; sons, Kenneth Bullard of
   Odessa,  Rodney Bullard of Arkansas City, Kan., and Richard Bullard of
   Brownwood;  daughters, Rhonda Bullard and Donna Runnels, both of Ponca
   City,  Gloria  Brawner  of  Portland,  Ore.,  and  Phyllis Nail of New
   Braunfels;   a   sister;   a   brother;   17  grandchildren;  and  two
   great-grandchildren.

   Irene Moreno

   BIG  SPRING Irene Gutierrez Moreno, 76, of Amarillo, a homemaker, died
   Saturday, July 28, 2001, at her daughters home in Amarillo.
   Services  will  be at 10:30 a.m. today at Myers and Smith Funeral Home
   Chapel with the Rev. Maria Socorro Rios officiating. Burial will be at
   Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Myers and Smith Funeral Home.
   She was born in Charlotte and had been a resident of Big Spring before
   moving to Amarillo 18 years ago. She was Catholic.
   SURVIVORS:  Sons,  Adolf  Moreno of Midland, Alex Moreno of Odessa and
   Larry  Moreno  of  Big  Spring;  daughters,  Janie  Malena and MaryAnn
   Levario, both of Amarillo, Ninfa Garcia of Big Spring and Alice Robles
   of Odessa; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

   Nora Smith

   STANTON Nora Lee Smith, 93, of Midland, a homemaker, died Monday, July
   30, 2001, in Greenwood.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and
   Chapel  with  the  Rev.  David Rich officiating. Burial will follow at
   Evergreen  Cemetery. Arrangements by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and
   Chapel.
   She was born in Hillsboro.
   SURVIVORS:  Sons,  Barney  Smith  of Odessa, Charlie Smith of Stanton,
   Billy  Smith,  Glen  Smith  and Bill Smith, all of Midland; daughters,
   Rose  Pritchett  of  Port  Aransas,  Violet  Thomas  of Big Spring and
   Dorothy  Anderson  of  Midland;  sisters, Mary Toon of Waco and Myrtle
   Cathey of Tucson, Ariz.; 24 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and
   six great-great-grandchildren.

   Jeremiah Steele

   MONAHANS  Jeremiah  Hidalgo Steele, 21, of Monahans died Tuesday, July
   31, 2001, at his residence.
   Graveside  services  will  be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Monahans Memorial
   Cemetery with David Lively officiating. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral
   Home.
   He was born in San Antonio. He was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS:  Mother,  Dulcenea  Hidalgo of Monahans; brothers, Terrance
   Steele  and  Wesley  Haggerton III, both of Monahans; and grandmother,
   Sulema Hidalgo of Monahans.

   William Stevenson

   ODESSA  William  A.  Steve  Stevenson,  88,  of Hobbs, N.M., a retired
   employee  of  Santa  Fe  Drilling  Co., died Monday, July 30, 2001, in
   Hobbs.
   Graveside  services  will  be  at  2  p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial
   Gardens. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Home.
   He was born in Bridgeport and had been a longtime resident of Odessa.
   SURVIVORS: Son, Steven Stevenson of Odessa; and daughter, Laurie Tubbs
   of Hobbs.

   ANDREWS  A.D. Curly Haley, 73, of Andrews died Tuesday, July 31, 2001,
   at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.

   Jerri Stanley
   MIDLAND  Jerri  Carol  Stanley,  57,  of Kermit died Tuesday, July 31,
   2001, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
   Services are pending with Cooper Funeral Chapel.
