   Eunice Atwood

   ANDREWS  Eunice  Marie  Atwood,  81,  of  Andrews,  a  homemaker, died
   Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at Brownfield Regional Medical Center.
   Mass  will  be  celebrated  at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes
   Catholic  Church  with the Rev. Bernard Gully officiating. Burial will
   be at the Andrews Old Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
   She was born in Pierre, S.D., and moved to Andrews in 1947.
   SURVIVORS:  Sons, Tommy Atwood of Hanford, Calif., and Jimmy Atwood of
   Seminole;   sister,   Elizabeth   Benson   of   Yankton,  S.D.;  three
   grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

   Claude Fenton

   ODESSA  Claude  W.  Fenton  Jr.,  80,  of  Odessa, retired owner of an
   automobile business, died Monday, July 30, 2001, at Hospice House.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Highland United Methodist Church
   with  the  Rev.  Mark  Scott  officiating.  Burial  will  be at Odessa
   Cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
   He  was born in Big Spring and moved to Odessa in 1927. He was an Army
   veteran of World War II. He was Methodist.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Bonnye Fenton of Odessa; daughters, Lynette Shimer of
   Thomasville,  Ga.,  and  Kathy  Siler of Willow Park; sister, LaFrance
   Vans Evers of Tampa, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

   John Friberg Jr.

   MIDLAND  John  Floyd  Friberg  Jr.,  79,  of Midland, retired building
   manager  of  the  Wall Towers complex, died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at
   his residence.
   Graveside  services  will be at 3 p.m. today at Fairview Cemetery with
   the  Rev.  Glenda  Harbert  officiating. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral
   Home.
   He  was  born in Wichita Falls and was a longtime resident of Midland.
   He was an Army veteran of World War II.
   SURVIVORS:  Daughter,  Charlotte Friberg Morris of Aurora, Colo.; son,
   John Floyd Friberg III of Marble Falls; stepdaughters, Kathie Goode of
   Austin,  Bobbie  Friberg  Nyborg  Brackbill of Houston and Mary Louise
   Hargis of Magnolia; and eight grandchildren.

   A.D. Haley Jr.

   ANDREWS A.D. Curley Haley Jr., 73, of Andrews, a retired field foreman
   for  Exxon  Corp.,  died  Tuesday,  July  31, 2001, at Permian General
   Hospital in Andrews.
   Services  will  be  at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the
   Rev.  H.A.  Hanks officiating. Burial will follow at the Andrews North
   Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
   He was born in Yoakum County. He was a Navy veteran. He was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS:  Wife,  Geneva  Haley  of  Andrews;  sons,  Ronald Haley of
   Lewisville and David Haley of Edinburg; daughters, Kathy Rekow of Azel
   and  Sandra Yount of Odessa; brother, Johnny B. Haley of Eunice, N.M.;
   sisters,  Nell  J.  Rice  and  Helen  M.  Starks, both of Hobbs, N.M.,
   Frances  Smith  of  Burnet  and  Patsy  A.  James  of Seagraves; eight
   grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

   Paul Rhoades

   LAS  VEGAS Paul G. Dusty Rhoades, 89, of Las Vegas, a retired employee
   of U.S. Department of Energy, died Friday, July 27, 2001, at The Plaza
   Regency in Las Vegas.
   No services are scheduled. Arrangements by Palm Mortuary.
   He was born in Kit Carson, Colo., and had been a resident of Odessa.
   SURVIVORS:  Daughter,  Sara Rhoades of Las Vegas; son, Jack Rhoades of
   Richland, Wash.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

   Jerri Stanley

   KERMIT  Jerri Carol Stanley, 57, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Tuesday,
   July 31, 2001, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
   Memorial  services  will  be at 2 p.m. Friday at Belvue Baptist Church
   with the Rev. Larry Harvey officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral
   Chapel.
   She was born in Tallahassee, Ala., and was a resident of Kermit for 35
   years. She was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS:  Sons,  Michael Earl Stanley of Highwood, Ill., and John J.
   Stanley  III of Kermit; daughters, Denise Casias of Charleston, Tenn.,
   and  Penny  Valdez  of  Kermit;  stepdaughters,  Mary  Ann  Stanley of
   Granbury and Jonnie Carrell of Jal, N.M.; brother, DeValle Trammell of
   Kermit;   sisters,  Martha  Pittinger  of  Kermit,  Peggy  Brannon  of
   Carlsbad,  N.M.,  and Jane Carter of Maud, Okla.; seven grandchildren;
   and two stepgrandchildren.

   Beryl Petrosky

   ODESSA  Beryl  Polly  Petrosky,  78, of Odessa died Wednesday, Aug. 1,
   2001, at her residence.
   Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

   Gregory Sikes

   ODESSA  Gregory Dillon Sikes, an infant, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001,
   in Odessa.
   Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
