She was born in Okemah, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1952 from Oklahoma. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Son, Rick Roberson of Midlothian; brothers, David England of Midland and Homer England of Fort Gibson, Okla.; sister, Ruby Dryden of Midland; and two grandsons. John Clanton SEMINOLE John Elton Clanton, 87, of Seminole, a retired farmer and rancher, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, at Texas Veterans Home in Big Spring. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Neil Hollis officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home. He was born in Scurry County and moved to Seminole from Vealmoor 50 years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Apostolic.
