   Gary Douglass
   ODESSA  Gary  Ross  Douglass,  58,  of  Odessa,  a retired employee of
   Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, in Odessa.
   Services  will  be  at  2  p.m. today in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson
   Funeral  Directors  with  the Rev. John Harrington officiating. Burial
   will  follow  at  Sunset  Memorial  Gardens.  Arrangements by Frank W.
   Wilson Funeral Directors.
   He was born in Abilene. He was Episcopalian.
   SURVIVORS:  Wife,  Charlotte Douglass of Odessa; daughters, Paige Ward
   of Irving and Jill Click of Arlington; sons, Lee Ginn and Dustin Ginn,
   both  of  Odessa;  sister,  Nicki  Wright  of  Abilene;  brothers, Don
   Douglass  of  Big  Spring  and  Kenneth  Douglass  of  Clyde; and four
   grandchildren.
   Mary Harrington
   ODESSA  Mary  Anna  Harrington,  80,  of  Odessa, a retired registered
   nurse, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, in Odessa.
   No services are scheduled. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
   She was born in Cambridge Springs, Pa., and moved to the Permian Basin
   in the early 1950s. She was Episcopalian.
   SURVIVORS: None listed.
   Joey Loper
   MORTON,  Miss.  Joey Loper, 37, of Odessa died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001,
   at his residence.
   Services  will  be at 11 a.m. today at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel
   with  the  Rev.  Glen  Curtis  officiating.  Burial  will be at Morton
   Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Ott and Lee Funeral Home.
   He was born in Scott County, Miss.
   SURVIVORS:  Wife,  Camie  Loper  of  Odessa; sons, Joshua Loper, Jason
   Loper  and  Jamie  Loper,  all  of  Odessa; daughter, Jessica Loper of
   Odessa;  father, Billy Loper of Odessa; mother, Linda Loper of Odessa;
   brother,  David Loper of Odessa; and grandmother, Juanita Slaughter of
   Odessa.
   Dennis Rambo
   ANDREWS  Dennis  Harvey  Rambo, 73, of Midland, a retired construction
   foreman, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2001, at his residence.
   Graveside  services  will  be  at  10 a.m. today at the Andrews County
   Cemetery  with  the  Rev.  Pete  Campbell officiating. Arrangements by
   Ellis Funeral Home.
   He was born in Quanah. He was an Army veteran. He was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS:  Son,  Dennis  H.  Rambo  Jr.  of  Midland; daughter, Linda
   Moreland  of  Midland;  sisters,  Dorothy  Eaglin  of Midland and Mary
   Robinson of Woodlake, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
   John Riel
   MIDLAND  John  G.  Jerry Riel, 84, of Midland, retired owner of Jerrys
   Sheet Metal Co., died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, at a local care facility.
   Services  will  be  at  10  a.m.  Friday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel.
   Burial  will  follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis
   Funeral Home.
   He  was born in Hitchcock, S.D., and had been a resident of Odessa. He
   was Navy veteran of World War II.
   SURVIVORS: Daughters, Susan Myers of Odessa, Rebecca Hamm of Brewster,
   Wash.,  and  Patsy  Edens of Dallas; brother, Albert Riel of Glenwood,
   Minn.;  sister,  Billie Blaseg of Miller, S.D.; six grandchildren; and
   10 great-grandchildren.
   Wanda Serna
   ODESSA  Wanda  R. Serna, 87, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, Aug.
   5, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
   Mass  will  be  celebrated  at  10 a.m. Saturday at St. Marys Catholic
   Church  with  the  Rev.  Francis Frey officiating. Rosary will be said
   before the Mass. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Odessa Cemetery.
   Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
   She was born in Odessa. She was Catholic.
   SURVIVORS:  Son,  John  E. Serna of San Antonio; sisters, Trixie Cobos
   and Frances Jordan, both of San Antonio; and three grandchildren.
   Charles Shaw
   COLORADO  CITY  Charles  Ray  Shaw,  70, of Odessa, a retired oilfield
   worker  and  security  guard,  died  Tuesday,  Aug.  7,  2001,  at his
   residence.
   Services  will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Kiker-Seale Chapel with the Rev.
   Charles  Day  officiating.  Burial  will  follow  at the Colorado City
   Cemetery. Arrangements by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
   He was born in Gibsland, La.
   SURVIVORS: Daughters, Wanda Johnson and Darlene Smith, both of Snyder;
   sons,  Robert  Shaw and Jimmy Shaw, both of Odessa, and Ronald Shaw of
   Meridian;  mother, Lucille Shaw of Colorado City; sister, Pat Bodiford
   of  Snyder;  and brothers, Curt Shaw and Curtis Shaw, both of Colorado
   City.
   Randy Braswell
   ODESSA  Randy  Braswell,  48, of Odessa died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, at
   his residence.
   Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
   Alice Jaramillo
   McCAMEY  Alice  Baiza  Jaramillo, 44, of McCamey died Tuesday, Aug. 7,
   2001, at McCamey Hospital.
   Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
