August 13, 2001 Woodrow Eggleston ODESSA Woodrow W. Eggleston, 87, of Odessa, died Saturday, August 11, 2001 at Parks Methodist Retirement Village. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Rev. Griffin Jones officiating. Burial was at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. Arrangement by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Denton and moved to Odessa three years ago. SURVIVORS: Son, Ramon Eggleston of Hemphill; daughter Patsy Fisher of Odessa; brother Carl Eggleston of Odessa; sisters Anna Bell Smith of Seminole and Ione Bradford of Lamesa; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Johnny Hawkins LAMESA Johnny Hawkins, 51, of Denver City, an operations technician, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lamesa Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home. He was born in Lamesa. He was a member of the Church of God. SURVIVORS: Wife, Sharon Hawkins of Denver City; sons, Quincy Hawkins of Dallas and Key Shawn of Denver City; daughters, Schamaine Hawkins of Odessa, Shahala Hawkins, Manaka Rosemond and Destiny Rosemond, all of Denver City; mother, Essie Hawkins of Lamesa; brother, Euel Hawkins of Lamesa; and sister, Velma Mason of Lamesa. Arturo Munoz ODESSA Arturo D. Munoz, 65, of Odessa, died Friday, August 10, 2001 at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Guadalupe Alvarez, Jr. officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Barstow and lived in Odessa for 33 years. DAVIS Pat Lynch, 80, of Ft. Davis died Sunday, August 12, 2001 at Alpine Valley Care Nursing Home.
