September 04, 2001 Elton Myers KERMIT- Elton "Jimmy" Myers, 80, of Kermit, a retired gas measurement technician, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with Brian McGonagill officiating. Burial will follow at Kermit Cemetery. He was born in Colorado City. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. SURVIVORS: Sons, Gerald Bennett Myers of Odessa and James Austin Myers of Spring; daughters, Carol Spruill of Abilene, Elaine Goos of Abilene and Vickey Arthur of West Monroe, La.; brother, Charles Myers of East; sister, Paulie Hill of Corpus Christi; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Linda Vigar BIG SPRING - Linda Sue Vigar, 53, of Midland died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Myers and Smith Chapel in Big Spring with the Rev. James Higgins officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
