September 08, 2001 Patsy Griffith ODESSA - Patsy Jean Griffith, 72, of Odessa, a retired registered nurse at Medical Center Hospital, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2001, at MCH. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Burial will be at the Pioneer Cemetery in Pioneer. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Smithfield. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. SURVIVORS: Sons, Roger Griffith of Los Lunas, N.M., and David Griffith of Rowlett; daughter, Mary Brem of Odessa; brothers, Donald Wiley and Herman Wiley, both of Amarillo; sisters, Muriel Davis of Cross Plains, Wynetta Walker, Ruth Harris and Doris Dixon, all of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Elizabeth Wieler SEMINOLE - Elizabeth Wieler, 69, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, at her residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rienlander Mennonite Church with Henry Riemer officiating. Burial will follow at the Gaines County Cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home. She was born in Mexico and moved to Seminole in 1983 from Mexico. She was Mennonite. SURVIVORS: Husband, Wilhelm Wieler of Seminole; sons, Jacob Wieler, Abe Wieler and Wilhelm Wieler, all of Canada, and John Wieler of Seminole; daughters, Suzanna Froese of Mexico, Mary Martens of Canada, Lisa Neufeld and Tina McCombs, both of Seminole, and Lena Harms of Plains; brother, Abe Friesen of Canada; sister, Agatha Martens of Canada; 34 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
