Ruby Holt
SNYDER - Ruby Fern Holt, 83, of Snyder, a homemaker, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Wolf City. 
SURVIVORS: Sister, Belle Roberts Speed of Odessa; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Merced Talavera
FORT DAVIS - Merced Estrada Talavera, 92, of Fort Davis, a retired seamstress, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, at her residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Davis. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Aparicia "Pat" Prado of Fort Davis; brother, Adan Salcido of Fabens; sisters, Modesta Urquidez and Julia Marquez, both of Pecos, Maria Talavera and Eva Lyles, both of Monahans; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Ollie Halley Draughan, 67, of Odessa died Monday, Sept. 10, 2001, at her residence.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

MIDLAND - Lola Smith, 54, of Odessa died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
