Richard Barnes
STANTON - Richard Barnes, 59, of Stanton, a retired electrician, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, at his residence.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Downtown Church of Christ with Van Pendergrass officiating. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home.
He was born in Hamlin and moved to Stanton in 1958. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Rocky Barnes and Kevin Barnes, both of Stanton, and Robby Barnes of Big Spring; brothers, Stanley Barnes of Stanton, Johnny Barnes of Midland and Donal Barnes of Odessa; sister, Vila Boggs of Levelland; and three grandchildren.

Tommy Drake
ANDREWS - Tommy Drake, 58, of Andrews, a truck driver, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Andrews Old Cemetery with the Rev. Ivy Shelton officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Ada, Okla. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Alice Drake of Andrews; sons, Guy Drake and Ricky Drake, both of Andrews; daughter, Callie Drake of Andrews; mother, Theresa Drake of Arlington; brothers, Larry Drake of Glen Rose and Ronnie Drake of Fairfield; sisters, Earlene Drake of Arlington and Truddy Crouse of Grandprairie; and two grandchildren.

Juan Lopez
ODESSA-Juan Lopez, 58, of Odessa, a construction worker, died Sept. 22, 2001, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Perpeto Del Saucer Iglesia Catolica in Porvenir, Mexico. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at 3905 W. Eighth St. in Odessa. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maria Lopez of Odessa; sisters, Genoveva Lerma of El Paso, Delfina Vasquez of Yucca Valley, Calif., and Ramona Serrano of Odessa.

Melvin Kindell
ODESSA-Melvin Douglas Kindell, 61, of Odessa died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Eloise Owens
ODESSA-Eloise Evelyn Owens, 85, of Odessa died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
