September 23, 2001 Richard Barnes STANTON - Richard Barnes, 59, of Stanton, a retired electrician, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, at his residence. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Downtown Church of Christ with Van Pendergrass officiating. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home. He was born in Hamlin and moved to Stanton in 1958. He was a member of the Church of Christ. SURVIVORS: Sons, Rocky Barnes and Kevin Barnes, both of Stanton, and Robby Barnes of Big Spring; brothers, Stanley Barnes of Stanton, Johnny Barnes of Midland and Donal Barnes of Odessa; sister, Vila Boggs of Levelland; and three grandchildren. Tommy Drake ANDREWS - Tommy Drake, 58, of Andrews, a truck driver, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, at his residence. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Andrews Old Cemetery with the Rev. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Perpeto Del Saucer Iglesia Catolica in Porvenir, Mexico. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at 3905 W. Eighth St. in Odessa.
