Angel Lujan
ODESSA - Angel Lujan, an infant, was stillborn Friday, Oct. 5, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Chavez officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Parents, David and Francisca Lujan of Andrews; brother, Jose David Lujan of Andrews; sister, Jessica Lujan of Andrews; and grandfather, Alfredo Lujan of Andrews. 

Oleta Messer
ODESSA - Oleta S. Messer, 80, of Goldsmith, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2001, at Chris's Country Retirement Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Wright officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Campti, La. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Mike Smith of Odessa; daughters, Marcia Cox of Goldsmith and Margaret Butler of Beeville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Eduvijen Rodriguez
FORT DAVIS - Eduvijen H. Rodriguez, 83, of Fort Davis, a homemaker, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at an Odessa hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Terlingua.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ramon Rodriguez Jr. of Kermit, T.H. Rodriguez of Fort Davis, C.H. Rodriguez of Lewisville and Raul Rodriguez of Arlington; daughters, Rita Rodriguez of Chicago, Socorro Brito of El Paso and Rosie Gutierrez of San Angelo; brothers, George Rodriguez II of Fort Davis, Jose La Luz Hernandez of Odessa, William Rodriguez of Pecos and Fredrico Rodriguez of Monahans; sisters, Josepha Lundquist of Kenedy, Francisca Fuentez of Carlsbad, N.M., and Maggie Dutchover of Fort Davis; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Refugio Yanez
KERMIT - Refugio "Tato" Yanez, 74, of Kermit, a retired employee of Southwestern Bell, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at the Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Balmorhea and had been a resident of Pecos before moving to Kermit 34 years ago. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Merced Yanez of Kermit; sons, Refugio Yanez Jr. of Monahans and Jessie Yanez of Kermit; daughters, Jovie Aranda and Josy Alvarado, both of Kermit, and Sylvia Cunningham of Fort Worth; brothers, Juan Yanez of Odessa and Jose Chito Yanez of Pomona, Calif.; sister, Ortencia Ramos of Odessa; and seven grandchildren.

Chris Curry
HUMBLE - Chris Curry, 35, of Crosby died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at a Humble hospital.
Services are pending with Earthman Funeral Home.
