James Armstrong
MIDLAND - James Armstrong, 81, of Midland, a 32nd degree Master Mason, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Wayman Swopes officiating. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Clyde.
SURVIVORS: Sons, J.J. Armstrong of Odessa, Terry Wayne Armstrong of Midland, Wesley Shaw Armstrong of Midland, Ethan Clay Armstrong of Mesquite and Kenneth Kevin Armstrong of Odessa; daughter, Melissa Elaine Hale of Midland; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Kyle Barnes
ODESSA -Kyle Spencer Barnes, 74, of Pyote died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital,
A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Myers and Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
He was born in Butler County, Ky. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Marilyn Barnes of Pyote; daughter, Kyla Smith of Kentucky; brother, Wally Barnes of Kentucky; and two grandchildren.

Mildred Caram
ALPINE -Mildred J. Caram, 81, of Alpine, a business teacher, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. James' Episcopal Church with the Rev. Judith Burgess officiating. A second funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Episcopal Church in Lowell, Mass. Burial will follow at Lowell Cemetery in Massachusetts. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Lowell, Mass. She was Episcopalian.
SURVIVOR: Sister, Thelma C. Hoyle of Alpine.

Moises Hernandez
PRESIDIO - Moises O. Hernandez, 78, of Odessa, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio. Rosary will said at 7:30 p.m. today at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Burial will be at Desert Hills Cemetery in Presidio. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Presidio. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Josefina Hernandez of Odessa; daughters, Nancy Carrasco of Odessa and Carmen Trejo of Texarkana; sons, Moises "Boyd" Hernandez Jr., Ricardo M. Hernandez and Jesus Manuel Hernandez, all of Odessa, and Oscar M. Hernandez of Kermit; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

PECOS - Martha Louise "Sis" Holcombe, 77, of Pecos, a retired gift shop owner, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Greer Willis and the Rev. Les Woodard officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Westerbrook. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Walter M. Holcombe of Pecos; daughters, Martha Reid of Ripley, Miss., And Yvonna Johnson of Pecos; son, Walt Holcombe III of Austin; brother, Bill Ellis of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Peggy Jo Ellis of Pecos, Sue Leach of San Antonio and Nita Parker of Longview; 16 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Bobby Jay Woodward III, an infant, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with E.J. Miller and Ned Bruton officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Bobby Woodward Jr. and Andrea Fluellen of Odessa; sister, Ericka Soltera of Odessa; grandparents, Vernon and Gina Bruton and Roy Lee and Beverly Stotts, all of Odessa; great-grandparents, David and Wanda Lackey, Ned and Jessie Bruton, and Wallace and Florence Stotts; and two great-great grandmothers.
