She was born in Portales, N.M., and moved to Seminole 23 years ago from Hale Center. She was Baptist. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Vasquez officiating. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at the church. Lopez, 80, of Fort Stockton, a retired heavy equipment operator for Pecos County, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in Fort Stockton. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home. He was born in Terlingua and was a resident of Pecos County since 1944. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.
