Lencho Abila
KERMIT - Lencho Abila, 68, of Wink, owner and operator of Lencho's Citgo Service Station, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church.Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel of Kermit.
He was born in Barstow and had lived in Kermit for 47 years. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Luisa Abila of Wink; sons, Arturo Abila of Odessa and Jessie Abila of Wink; daughters, Terri Abila and Melba Abila, both of Kermit; brothers, Epifiano Abila of Barstow, Julian Abila of Odessa and Pablo Abila of Pecos; sisters, Natividad Mata of Phoenix, Ariz., Licha Aldaz of San Antonio and Eufemia Carrasco of Odessa; and five grandchildren.

Vaughn Hunt
DENTON - Vaughn Baxter Hunt, 71, of Denton, retired owner and operator of AJ Hunt Contracting Co. in Odessa, died Saturday., Nov. 10, 2001, at Denton Community Hospital.
Arrangements by Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors Inc. in Denton.
Hunt was born in San Angelo and moved to Denton from Roswell, N.M. and Odessa. He was a U.S. Army veteren of the Korean War. He Presbyterian. 
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Baxanne H. Doyle of Nederland, Colo.; and two grandchildren.

Kevin Keller
STANTON - Kevin August Keller, 35, of Odessa, a songwriter and guitarist, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Stanton with the Rev. Dudley Mullins officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton. He was Lutheran. SURVIVORS: Mother and stepfather, Shelia and Everett Ouzts of Big Spring; father and stepmother, Bruno and Nell Keller of Midland; sister, Suzie Seabourn of Odessa; and grandmother, Hildagard Keller of Monte Vista, Colo.

Edna Kobernick
ODESSA - Edna Mae Kobernick, 75, of Odessa, a waitress, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Dallas. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Kenneth Edgar Kobernick of Odessa; daughters, Cynthia Ann Kirby and Claire Jean Skelton, both of Odessa, and Sherry Lee Green of Vega; sister, Mary Osteen of Peoria, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Murdell Rowlett
HAMILTON - Murdell Rowlett, 78, of Hamilton, retired cafeteria manager, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, in Beaumont.
Services were held Monday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Brad Davis and Doyle Combs officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Andrews Cemetery in Andrews. Arrangements by Riley Funeral Home of Hamilton and McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
She was born in Ranger and moved to Hamilton from Andrews. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Linda Rowlett of Marble Falls; sons, Paul Rowlett of Claremore, Okla. and Dale Rowlett of Houston; brothers, Ira Gray and Bob Gray, both of Odessa, and Jack Gray of Angleton; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Ruben Gamboa Jr.
IRAAN - Ruben Gamboa Jr., 19, of Iraan, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at his home in Iraan.
Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Chapel of Iraan.
