"Guero" Pando, 64, of Kermit, a retired construction worker, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial was at the Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. He was born in Redford and was a resident of Kermit for 51 years. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Wife, Antonia Pando of Kermit; sons, Jose A. Bailey of Colorado Springs, Colo., Robert Pando of Wink, Antonio Pando and Abel Pando, both of Kermit; daughters, Liz Scrogins of Wichita, Kan., and Leticia Almanza of Monahans; brothers, Alonzo Pando and Alfredo Pando Jr., both of Kermit, and Amador Pando Sr. of Andrews; sisters, Frances Nave of Andrews, Josefina Pena of Kermit and Connie Dominguez of Jal, N.M.; and 16 grandchildren. Lueicy Shelton ODESSA - Lueicy "Ludy" Shelton, 85, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, in Odessa. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Dr. Griffin Jones of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. She was born in Caddo, Oklahoma. She was Baptist. She was born in Blackburn, Mo., and had been a resident of Andrews. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
