Louis Freeman
ODESSA - Louis "Paul" Peter Freeman, 87, of Odessa, a salesman, died Dec. 5, 2001, in Friendswood.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Wes Duckett officiating. Arrangements by Jeter Memorial Funeral Home in Friendswood.
He was born in Kendall, Kan. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Gary Freeman of Friendswood; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Alan Matthews
MIDLAND - Alan P. Matthews, 62, of Odessa, a rancher, died Dec. 1, 2001, in Midland.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church in Midland with the Rev. Jon Stasney officiating. Arrangements by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
He was born in Pecos.
SURVIVORS: Son, Alan Mark Matthews of Odessa; daughter, Ann Matthews of Bandera; and two grandchildren.

Theodore Novak
PLAIN CITY, Ohio - Theodore William Novak, 94, of Cleveland, Ohio, a retired doctor, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, in University Place, Wash.
Burial will be at Forrest Grove Cemetery in Plain City, Ohio. Arrangements by Ferguson Funeral Home.
He had been a resident of Odessa and San Antonio. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Nancy Dickson and Suzanne May; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

W.C. Sheffield
MONAHANS - W.C. "Bill" Sheffield, 89, of Wickett, a retired welder, died Dec. 7, 2001, at Odessa Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Morris Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Iola Byram of Wickett and Sandra Furry of Giddings; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Daisy Williams
SEMINOLE - Daisy "Louise" Williams, 85, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, at Memorial Hospital in Seminole.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lonnie Poe officiating. Burial will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Abbott. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sister, Lucy Davis of Riverside, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

ODESSA - Letha Brown, 79, of Odessa, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Clara Dennis
ODESSA - Clara Dennis, 92, of Odessa, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, in Fort Worth.
Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
