McFall, 51, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at his residence after a lengthy illness. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Breckenridge with Charles Kuhn officiating. A Midland memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at the Glass Chapel of the First United Methodist Church. He was born March 19, 1949, in Andrews to George Robert McFall and Erin Mary Yarborough McFall. He graduated from Andrews High School in 1967 as a National Merit Scholar. He graduated from North Texas State University in Denton and went on to receive a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his son, Aaron Robert McFall of Bedford, cousins and many friends. The family requests memorials be made to the donors favorite charity. _________________________________________________________________ [INLINE] Florence Billie Fowler MIDLAND Florence "Billie" Fowler died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at a local care center. Memorial services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert V. Scoffield of Bethany Christian Church of Odessa officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Florence Fowler was born Feb. 16, 1914, in Archer County to Henry Riley Prescott Sr. and Helen Olivia Prescott. On April 15, 1933, she married John W. Fowler in Frederick, Okla. She and her husband farmed in Floydada until coming to Odessa in 1950. Mrs. Fowler enjoyed cooking for her family, playing cards, fishing and gardening. Florence was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Margaret Morgan; and her husband, John Fowler, in 1992. She is survived by her son, William "Bill" A. Fowler and his wife Sherrie of Cleburne; two daughters, Linda Fowler Wade and her husband Marlin of Midland and Sandra Fowler Ross and her husband Joe of Fort Worth; a brother, Henry Riley Prescott and his wife Jean of Liberty; two grandsons, Mark Moseley and his wife Marlene of Slidell, La., and Robert Ross and his wife Lisa of Fort Worth; two granddaughters, Sara Jane Fettinger and her husband Patrick of Arlington and Meredith Gillum of Farmers Branch; and her four great-grandchildren, Aerin Ross, Travis Austin Moseley, Caroline Fettinger and Miranda Fettinger. Franco, 66 years of age, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at his Odessa residence. He was born May 18, 1934, in Lovington, N.M., to Manuel and Blasa Franco. Mr. Franco retired after many years of pipe painting in the oilfield. He was also a member of El Divino Salvador Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Eva Franco of Odessa; sons, Ruben Franco of Odessa and Daniel Franco of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Yolanda Franco of Carlsbad, N.M.; brothers, Jose Franco and Juan Franco, both of Carlsbad; sister, Gloria Franco of Lovington; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Valerie, Michelle, Elizabeth, Thania, Bridget and Raimond. Smith, 71, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Smith was born April 6, 1929, in Belton. She married Cecil Smith on June 17, 1961. She and her husband Cecil had been in the restaurant business in Odessa for 39 years. She devoted much of her life to her two sons passion for music. In recent years, she enjoyed the company of her grandson and collecting dolls. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Cosper, and sister, Gerel Hartman. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Smith of Odessa; two sons, Byron Smith and Robin Smith, both of Round Rock; a grandson, Fisher Smith of Lubbock; two brothers, Bill and Doc Truelove, both of Temple; and two sisters, Loretta Meyer of Carlsbad, N.M., and Mona Marler of DeRidder, La. The family will meet with friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services at 3 p.m. at Robert Lee Cemetery in Robert Lee.
