   Lucia Beltran
   
   ODESSA Lucia Beltran, 66 years of age, passed away Saturday, May 26,
   2001, at her Odessa residence. She was born Feb. 28, 1935, in Big
   Spring to Vicente and Francisca Mata.
   
   Surviving are her husband, Guadalupe Beltran of Odessa; sons, Harvey
   Beltran of Odessa, Larry Beltran of Houston and Joe Beltran of
   Midland; brother, Celestino Mata of Anaheim, Calif.; sisters, Aida
   Orosco, Sophia Melendez and Yolanda Nick, all of Colorado Springs,
   Colo.; and grandsons, Timothy, Ian, Blaine and Zachary Beltran.
   
   Visitation began at noon Monday at Odessa Funeral Home. Funeral
   services are set for 2 p.m. today, May 29, 2001, at Odessa Funeral
   Home Angeles Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
   Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
   
   Services by Odessa Funeral Home.

   Blanca C. Galindo
   
   ODESSA Blanca C. Galindo, 72, of Odessa died Saturday, May 26, 2001,
   in Alpine.
   
   Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at St.
   Anthonys Catholic Church with the Rev. David Espitia officiating.
   Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today, May 29, 2001, in the chapel of
   Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
   
   Mrs. Galindo was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jose and
   Justa Canton Lee. She was raised in Chihuahua where she attended
   medical school. She was married and raised seven children. Mrs.
   Galindo and her family moved to Odessa in 1949. She was very active
   with St. Joseph and St. Anthonys parishes. She operated her own
   business in Odessa for many years.
   
   She was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Alicia Hudson July
   16, 2000.
   
   Survivors include five sons, Raymond Daniel Galindo of Tacoma, Wash.,
   Tony Galindo and wife Mary of Odessa, Augustine Galindo and wife Janie
   of Odessa, Victor Hugo Galindo and wife Ana of Odessa and Omar A.
   Galindo and wife Lillian of Southlake; a daughter, Naomi G. Anderson
   and husband Jim of Fort Davis; a lifelong friend, Monica V. Manternach
   of Odessa; a sister, Elisa Morales of Delicious, Mexico; a son-in-law,
   Ronald J. Hudson of El Paso; 14 grandchildren; and 14
   great-grandchildren.
   
   Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

   Ruth Hallmark
   
   ODESSA Ruth Hallmark, 76, of Odessa, a retired bookkeeper, died
   Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Hospice House of Odessa.
   
   Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 29, 2001, at
   Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Johnny Pritcher officiating.
   
   She was born in Winnsboro. She married Rooks Hunter Hallmark June 9,
   1947, in Tyler. She was the co-owner of Hallmark Watch Repair of
   Odessa and a member of Temple Baptist Church.
   
   She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Betty Roberts; a
   brother, R.G. Garrett; and a sister, Evelyn Ericson.
   
   Survivors: Husband, Rooks Hallmark of Odessa; daughter, Bobbie
   Parisher of Llano; brother, Adrian Garrett of Odessa; five
   grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three
   great-great-grandchildren.
   
   The family requests memorials be made to Hospice House of Odessa.
