June 29, 2001 Permian Basin Obituaries F.B. Dodson ODESSA F.B. Dodson, 70, of Odessa passed away Thursday, June 28, 2001, at his residence. He was born Jan. 17, 1931, in Oklahoma City, Okla. He married Juanita Faye Watkins on Aug. 5, 1950, in Monahans. Mr. Dodson moved to Odessa in 1950 from Monahans. He worked for TXU Electric for 42 years. He was a member of the American Legion and Resurrection Methodist Church. He was an Air Force veteran and was involved with the Boy Scouts of America for many years. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Dodson of Odessa; two sons, J.P. Dodson and wife Twyla of Odessa and Jimmy Dodson and wife Lynn of Odessa; two grandchildren, Jon and Michael; and his pet granddog, Taffy. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Cameron officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or Resurrection Methodist Church. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. _________________________________________________________________ Minnie Lea Jinx Schmidt Perry ODESSA Minnie Lea Jinx Schmidt Perry, 68, of Odessa passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Jan. 22, 1933, in Estancia, N.M. She married Tilmon Pee Wee Perry on Jan. 10, 1950, in Idalou. Mrs. Perry moved to Odessa in 1950. She was a home manager and a member of the Idalou Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her husband, Tilmon Perry of Odessa; four daughters, Debra Underwood and husband Mike of Odessa, Pam Robbins of Odessa, Tanya Chapman and husband Rod of Houston and Kelli Love and husband Jim of Rockwall; three sisters, Francis Williams of Beaumont, Chris Graves of Lake Worth and Betty Nafzger and husband Jay of Amarillo; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2001, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Preston Weatherly officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
