August 02, 2001 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ Anita Musgrove Clover ODESSA Mrs. Anita Musgrove Clover, 91, of Denton, formerly of Odessa, died Monday, July 30, 2001, in Denton. She was born Jan. 28, 1910, in Big Spring. She married the late Carlos L. Clover on Jan. 26, 1929. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Odessa, Thursday Study Club, Federated Womans Club since 1941, serving in all offices, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, DAR, founding member of the Perky Peers at church and Circle Chair Member of the churchs Fidelis Class. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at First United Methodist Church of Odessa with the Rev. Bill Heggemeier officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Odessa or Clover House in Odessa. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Louis Clover. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Pat Gobble of Denton; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. DeBerry Funeral Directors of Denton is in charge of arrangements. _________________________________________________________________ Lourine Messenger SANFORD, Fla. Lourine Messenger, 92, mother of the late Walter Beal, died Monday, July 23, 2001, in Sanford, Fla. Lourine had visited Odessa for many years and made many friends here. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Mrs. Walter (Helen) Beal of Odessa; grandsons, Sam of Mountain View, Calif., David of Odessa and Steven of El Paso; great-grandson, Garnet of El Paso; sisters, Theo Vickery of Key West, Fla., and Flossie Lee of Lattimore, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at First Presbyterian Church of Sanford with the Rev.
