   Ara Lea Colbert
   ODESSA  Ara  Lea  Colbert,  70,  of Odessa passed away Monday, Aug. 6,
   2001, in San Angelo.
   Memorial  services  will  be  held  at  5 p.m. today, Aug. 9, 2001, at
   Central  Baptist  Church,  1416  N.  Texas  Ave.,  with the Rev. David
   Johnson officiating.
   She was born April 17, 1931, in Shawnee, Okla. She married Ray Colbert
   in  1968.  She  resided  in  Las  Vegas for 16 years until she came to
   Odessa in 1987 to live with and care for her mother.
   She was a retired housekeeper and nurse and a member of Bethel Baptist
   Church in Dallas.
   Mrs.  Colbert was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Townson;
   stepfather, Harry Boucher; and Lala.
   She  is  survived by her daughter, Angela Mallory; granddaughter, Tara
   Lea  Ciapponi;  mother, Clara Boucher; sister, Bobbe Harrold; brother,
   Charles  Boucher  and  wife  Barbara,  all of Odessa; sisters, Carolyn
   Bates  and  husband  T.J.  of  Jackson,  Miss.,  and Barbara Nelson of
   Fullerton, Calif.; uncle, Otto Loessin of Shawnee, Okla.; and numerous
   cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
   She will be greatly missed by all.
