September 15, 2001 Permian Basin Obituaries Obituaries Index Faye Hewitt ODESSA - Faye Hewitt, 88, a homemaker, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2001, at a Fort Worth hospital. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa. Faye Hewitt was born May 7, 1913, in Coffeyville, Kan. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Odessa for many years where she taught Sunday school and was active in the WMU. She was preceded in death by Pete Hewitt in 1980. Survivors: Daughters, Marjorie Mize of Fort Worth and Billie Doyal and husband Marvin of Conroe; son, Jimmy Ray Hewitt of Odessa; granddaughters, Kimberly Briganti and Jana Phillips; grandsons, Craig Doyal and Kirk Doyal; great-granddaughters, Leigh Blevins, Lindsey Doyal and Jennifer Doyal; great-grandson, Brian Doyal; and great-great-granddaughter, Lindsey Blevins.
