Jacob was a student at Sam Houston Elementary School. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his parents, Endira Brito of Odessa and Daniel Rodriguez of Midland; stepfather, Christopher Roger Galindo of Odessa; brother, Jonathan Galindo of Odessa; sister, Brenda Roque of Odessa; half brothers, Lorenzo, Anthony and Nathaniel Rodriguez of Midland; half sister, Alazaye Rodriguez of Midland; grandparents, Leticia and Romero Brito of Odessa, Ramona Trevinio of Midland, Andy Rodriguez of Midland, Olivia Muro of Odessa and Tony Galindo of Odessa; great-grandparents, Dora H. Brito of Odessa and Julia Trevinio of Midland; aunts and uncles, Zulma, Ramiro, Ricardo, Ruben, Joselyne and Jaquelyne Brito, Hugo, Manuel and Janie Padilla, Andy, Gilbert, Ruben and Bernice Rodriguez; numerous cousins; and special friends, Olga and Kris M. Cisneros of Odessa. An angel born on this earth so handsome and precious at his birth with long eyelashes and big brown eyes welcomed to heaven as angels rise. Now as a guardian angel, he will watch over us all until the day when God will call. We all will love him, our "Baby J," with memories and love everyday.
