Eudy ODESSA - Mike D. Eudy, 83, of Odessa passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Dawson County and was married to Esta Fern Reynolds of Lamesa on March 23, 1940. He served in the Pacific during World War II as a Carpenters Mate 1st Class in the U.S. Navy Sea-Bees. Mr. and Mrs. Eudy moved to Odessa in 1952. Mr. Eudy retired as a captain from the Odessa Police Department in January 1980 where he had been an inspiration to many of the cadet recruits and to his fellow officers. Mike Eudy was a 50-year Mason with the Stephenville Lodge No. 267 and was also a member of Sixth and Jackson Church of Christ in Odessa. A devoted husband and father, Mike Eudy dearly loved his sons and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 11 siblings and a grandson. He is survived by his wife, Fern, and his four sons, Chuck L. Eudy of Odessa, Ed M. Eudy of Sherwood, Ark., Sid F. Eudy of Pascagoula, Miss., and Jonathan Eudy of Little Rock, Ark. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Masonic graveside and Police Honor Guard services to follow. David W. Price ODESSA - David W. Price, 59, of Las Vegas, Nev., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 3, 1942, in Odessa. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1960. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was Baptist and a Mason. David had lived in Las Vegas the past 27 years. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with O.V. Laird officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Survivors include his mother, Mildred Price of Odessa; son, Morgan Price of Las Vegas; granddaughter, Joelen Price of Las Vegas; two aunts, Billie Jackson of Odessa and Thelma Gorney of Boerne; and other loving family members.
