 Dr. Edwin T. Blair
ODESSA - Dr. Edwin T. Blair, 83, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Jan. 5, 1918, in Paris, Ark. He moved to Odessa in 1946 after serving in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He married Phyllis Adams on Nov. 21, 1950, in Odessa.
Dr. Blair was a pediatric dentist. He practiced in Odessa many years and retired in 1987. He was a life member of the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He was also a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Phyllis of Odessa; son, Phillip Theron Blair of Fort Worth; daughters, Betsy Blair of Manhattan, Kan., and Sallie A. Blair of Midland; and eight grandchildren.
The family will meet with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at the Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, Ark.
Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
