Essie Hargrove
MONAHANS - Essie Mae Hargrove, 97, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at Monahans Managed Care Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Southside Baptist Church with Barry Klempnauer officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in Nugent and was a resident of Monahans since 1965. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, J.L. Hargrove of Hawley; daughter, Cleola Helm of Monahans; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

K.W. Hollen
MARFA - K.W. "Cheta" Hollen, 85, of Fort Davis, a retired real estate broker and rancher, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ernie Vineyard officiating. Burial will follow at the Marfa Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Marfa.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ted Hollen of Austin and Skipper Hollen of Fort Davis; daughters, Patty Moreland of Fort Davis and Nancy Black of Austin; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Doyce Perkins
ODESSA - Doyce Gerald Perkins, 62, of Odessa, a service technician, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Rochester and moved to Odessa in 1994. He was Seventh-day Adventist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Eva Lee Perkins of Odessa; daughter, Michelle Holley of Arizona; two sons; mother, Sybil Perkins Clark of Midland; brother, Danny Perkins of Springtown; sisters, Sharon Walker and Laneita Bingham, both of Midland; and four grandchildren.

Bettie Roberson
ODESSA - Bettie Lou Roberson, 63, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clydell Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Merkel and moved to Odessa in 1947. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Jack Roberson of Odessa; daughter, Sandra Dee Roberson Tilley of Odessa; sons, Ivey Jack "Buddy" Roberson of Odessa and Billy Joe Roberson of Midland; and five grandchildren.

Victoria Samora
SEAGRAVES - Victoria Samora, 83, of Seagraves, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at Brownfield Regional Medical Center in Brownfield.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Templo Bautista Getsemani with the Rev. Jose Maria Garcia officiating. Burial will follow at the Seagraves Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in San Antonio and moved to Seagraves in 1963 from Lamesa. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Frank Samora of Seagraves; daughters, Mary Sanchez, Santos Moreno, Francis Carrasco and Natablia Mendoza, all of Seagraves, Candy Basquez of Post and Alvenida Rosales of Las Vegas; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
