John Barron
FORT STOCKTON - John "Uncle John" C. Barron, 83, of Dallas, a retired furniture refinisher, died
Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, in Dallas.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery with Cosme Ureta
officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Bertha Angel of Los Angeles, Deanna Leonard and Linda Blalock, both of
Bothel, Wash.; brother, Frank Barron of Austin; sisters, Elodia James of Dallas and Joshiphine Barron of
Irvine, Calif.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

William Johnson
OKOLONA, Ark. - William C. "Dick" Johnson, 74, of Okolona, Ark., retired chief operator for
American Oil Co. in El Dorado, Ark., and Kansas City, Mo., died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at his
residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Weir Cemetery. Arrangements by Ruggles-Wilcox
Funeral Home.
He was born in Hope, Ark., and had been a resident of Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Francis Jean Johnson of Okolona; son, Dickie Johnson of Waxahachie; daughter,
Dee Grove of Beebe, Ark.; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Lois Moran
ODESSA - Lois B. Moran, 76, of Abilene, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Rose Hill Cemetery with Jack Fuqua officiating.
Arrangements by Abilene Funeral Home.
She was born in Jellico, Ky., and moved to Abilene three years ago from Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Bobby Joe Robinson of Abilene and Eric Arland Robinson of Altamonte Springs,
Fla.; brother, Victor Bunch of Allen; a sister; and five grandchildren.

Anacleta Pinedo
MARATHON - Anacleta G. Pinedo, 81, of Marathon, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, in
Alpine.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino
officiating. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at the Marathon Cemetery.
Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Marathon.
SURVIVORS: Son, Ruben Pinedo of Tucson, Ariz.; daughter, Cleotilde Pinedo Acosta of Marathon;
brothers, Alberto Garcia and Magdaleno Garcia, both of Marathon, Baudelio "Lilo" Garcia of Huntington
Beach, Calif., and Liborio Garcia of Santa Ana, Calif.; sister, Angela Garcia of Alpine; and five
grandchildren.

Manuel Ramos
ODESSA - Manuel E. Ramos, 77, of Presidio died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.
