Lily Arnett
ODESSA - Lily Lois Arnett, 89, of Houston, a homemaker, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, in Houston.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy
Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Cleburne and moved to Odessa in 1952.
SURVIVORS: Son, Ray Arnett of Houston; and three grandchildren.

Burr Larkin Jr.
ODESSA - Burr Henry Larkin Jr., 65, of Odessa, owner and operator of Henry's Radiator Shop, died
Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at Hospice House.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with David Hartsfield officiating.
Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Cross Plains and was a resident of Odessa since 1959. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Nancy Diane Larkin of Odessa; son, Christopher Jonathan Larkin of Odessa;
brothers, Leo Larkin and James Larkin, both of Abilene; sisters, Frances Crutchfield, Betty Lou
Crutchfield, Virginia Looney and Imagene Smith, all of Abilene; and two grandsons.

Manuel Ramos
OJINAGA, Mexico - Manuel E. Ramos, 77, of Presidio, a retired laborer, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002,
at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday at Iglesia de Nuestro Padre Jesus Catholic Church. Burial will
be at El Ultimo Refugio Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Barstow. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lucina F. Ramos of Presidio; daughters, Maria Socorro Ramos and Yesenia
Ramos, both of Presidio; sons, Narciso Ramos, Manuel E. Ramos Jr. and Jose Alberto Ramos, all of
Presidio; sisters, Maximina Rubio of El Paso, Jesusita Ramos of Ojinaga, Mexico, Concepcion Rios and
Anita Salgado, both of Odessa, and Tomasa Hernandez of Monahans; and six grandchildren.

Doris Roberts
ODESSA - Doris Blanche Roberts, 69, of Grand Prairie, a homemaker, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at
Arlington Medical Center in Arlington.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly
Funeral Home.
She was born in Hamilton. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Son, Waylon Roberts of Granbury; daughters, Melinda Lafaye Culpepper of Mesquite,
Ginger Glenna Roberts of Austin and Kristi L. Toth of Grand Prairie; brother, Robert Solomon of
Friendswood; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Morgan Rogers
ODESSA - Morgan Wade Rogers, 16, of Odessa died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at University Medical Center
in Lubbock.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Luther
Whitlow and Frank Davis officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Kermit.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Ronnie and Diane Rogers of Odessa; sisters, Camille Richardson and Jennie
Rogers, both of Odessa, and Monica Contreras of Graham; and grandparents, Shorty and Juanita Rogers
