Jerry Brinson
ANDREWS - Jerry Brinson, 88, of Andrews died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, in Manor Park in Midland.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Kello officiating. Burial
will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Cross Plains. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Wanda Short of Snyder and Vondel Brinson of Andrews; sister, Bonnie
Dorsey of Brownwood; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

R.L. Hammett
ANDREWS - R.L. Hammett, 86, of Andrews, a retired field operator for Phillips Petroleum Company,
died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Short officiating.
Graveside services will be in the Andrews North Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Sevier County, Ark. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Reva Hammett of Andrews; son, Glenn Hammett of Andrews; sister, Lois Fant of
DeQueen, Ark.; and one grandchild.

Cletus Norton
ODESSA - Cletus Norton, 88, of Odessa, a retired teacher and business owner, died Thursday, Jan. 31,
2002, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Fair Lawn Memorial Park in Cushing, Okla., with the
Rev. Bill Alton officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Ripley, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Nephew, Don Norton of Oklahoma City; and niece, Billie Young of Cushing, Okla.
