Oscar Gonzalez
DENVER CITY - Oscar Rodriquez Gonzalez, 58, of Denver City, a roughneck, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at Yoakum County Hospital in Denver City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Templo Calvario Asamblea de Dios with the Rev. Juan Soto officiating. Burial will follow at Denver City Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ratliff Funeral Home.
He was born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Alfredo Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez Jr., Hector Gonzalez and David Gonzalez, all of Denver City; daughters, Rosa Hernandez and Martina Orona, both of Denver City; brothers, David Gonzalez and Ramiro Gonzalez, both of Odessa, and Osvaldo Gonzalez of California; sister, Olivia Riazola of Sweetwater; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Erma Hicks
GOLTHWAITE - Erma Pearl Hicks, 88, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at the Hospice House.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Duren Cemetery in Mills County. Arrangements by Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home.
She was born in Mills County.
SURVIVORS: Sons, James "Sonney" Hicks and Bradley Hicks, both of Odessa; daughter, Beverly Ann Hicks of Odessa; sisters, Ella Cox of Goldthwaite and Reva Keating of Weatherford; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Joe Puga
STANTON - Joe Puga, 94, of Stanton, a retired self-employed mechanic, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at a Stanton care center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Ernie Sanchez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
He was born in Colorado City and was a longtime resident of Stanton.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Clotilde Puga of Stanton; son, Joe Puga Jr. of Odessa; sister, Carmen Bernal of Andrews; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Linda Reed
ODESSA - Linda "Lynn" Rose Reed, 48, of Odessa died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at the Hospice House.
