He was born in Sulphur Springs and was a longtime resident of Odessa. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Methodist. James Stringer ODESSA - James C. Stringer, 71, of Odessa, a retired advertising salesman, died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, in Odessa.
