Glen Clark
ODESSA - Glen LeRoy Clark, 83, of Odessa, a retired construction supervisor, 
died Thursday, April 11, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral 
Home.
He was born in El Dorado, Kan. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Annie Clark of Odessa; sons, Glen LeRoy Clark III and Ken 
Edward Clark, both of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; daughter, Emily Collier of Odessa; 
brothers, Harry W. Clark of Odessa and Gene Clark of Menard; three 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

William Gartner
STUDY BUTTE - William H. Gartner, 70, of Fort Stockton, a retired military 
major, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. April 28 at Big Bend Baptist Church with 
Steve Haggard officiating. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Houston and had been a resident of Alpine. He was an Army 
veteran. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Chris Gartner of Alexander, Va., Karl Gartner of Rockhill, 
S.C., and Steve Gartner of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; daughters, Mimi Gartner of 
Newport News, Va., and Dayle Burkhart of Brenham; sister, Ann House of Sunrise 
Beach; and 2 grandchildren.

Albert Savalick
ODESSA - Albert "Sonny" Savalick, 55, of Odessa, a retail sales manager, died 
Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
No services are scheduled. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Herrin, Ill.
SURVIVORS: Son, Scott Savalick of Hometown, Ill.; and sisters, Maxine Brown of 
W. Frankfort, Ill., Rena Carron of Eureka, Mo., and Jackie Trumble of Odessa.

Billie Townes
DENVER CITY - Billie Sue Townes, 81, of Denver City, a retired insurance manager 
for APOR Insurance Co., died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Denver City Memorial Park with 
the Rev. Bob Webb officiating. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today at 
First Baptist Church. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Greenville. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Ralph Townes Jr. of Dallas; daughter, Suzanne Duvall of Lubbock; 
seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
