Omar Hernandez
FORT STOCKTON - Omar Hernandez, 9, of Fort Stockton, a student at Alma 
Elementary School, died Monday, May 6, 2002, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital 
in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the 
Rev. Ruben Reyes officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. 
Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic Church. Arrangements by Memorial 
Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Felicita Hernandez and Juan Zamudio of Fort Stockton; 
sisters, Nereida Lara and Maria Hernandez, both of Fort Stockton; and brothers, 
Jose Alfredo Hernandez and Oscar Lara, both of Fort Stockton.

Mae McMurry
ODESSA - Mae Lucille McMurry, 65, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, May 8, 
2002, at her residence.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Memorial Services with the Rev. 
Diana Russell officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Services.
She was born in Roscoe. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Wendell McMurry of Odessa; son, Johnny Majors of Odessa; 
daughters, Brenda Garms and Sylvia Norvell, both of Odessa, and Diana Russell of 
Paris, Texas; mother, Fay Brand of Odessa; and nine grandchildren.

Loretta Robinette
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Loretta Robinette, 87, of Edwardsville, Ill., a retired 
bookkeeper, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Rosewood Care Center in 
Edwardsville.
Services were April 30 at Saksa Mateer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James 
Coode officiating. Burial was at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon, Ill. 
Arrangements by Saksa Mateer Funeral Home.
She was born in St. Louis.
SURVIVORS: Sisters, Ruby Geers of Edwardsville, Joyce Yates of Odessa and Helen 
Bell of Granite City, Ill.

Gertrude Thomas
ODESSA - Gertrude Angie Thomas, 93, of Colorado Springs, Colo., a retired real 
estate broker, died Saturday, May 4, 2002, at Laurel Manor Nursing Home in 
Colorado Springs.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 
Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Hamilton and had been a resident of Odessa. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Richard Wade Thomas of Cripple Creek, Colo.; daughters, Sara 
Jane Hicks of Odessa and Sue McAdams of Australia; sister, Wilma Howell of Kemp; 
six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
