Robert Harris
ODESSA - Robert Lucuis Harris, 77, of Odessa, a retired machine operator, died 
Saturday, June 1, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church 
with the Rev. J.W. Hanson officiating. Burial will be at Ector County Cemetery. 
Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Hillsboro. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. 
SURVIVORS: Wife, Margaret Harris of Odessa; sons, Robert Stephen Harris and 
Tracey Ray Harris, both of Odessa; brother, Louis Hall of Fort Worth; and 
sisters, Sonja Sewell, Mary Gamble and Jessie Harris, all of Las Vegas.

Velma Hodges
ODESSA - Velma Hodges, 93, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, 
at Avalon Place Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 
Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in San Augustine and moved to Odessa in 1977. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Kenneth Hodges of Odessa; sisters, Era Jones of Odessa and Anne 
Knutsen of San Francisco; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a 
great-great-grandchild.

Secundino Ramos
MARATHON - Secundino B. Ramos, 75, of Marathon, a retired foreman for Big Bend 
National Park, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, in San Angelo.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the 
Revs. Rick Ruiz and Ildefonso DeLeon officiating. Burial will be at the Marathon 
Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Marathon. He was an Army veteran of World War II. 
SURVIVORS: Wife, Elvira G. Ramos of Marathon; son, Samuel G. Ramos of Big Lake; 
daughter, Elva Ramos Diaz of Edmond, Okla.; brother, Toribio Ramos of Alpine; 
sister, Fermana DeLeon of Marathon; and three grandchildren.

Irene Rhea
SEMINOLE - Irene Rhea, 84, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Wednesday, June 5, 
2002, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Gaines County Memorial 
Cemetery with Leo Copeland officiating. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Burnett and moved to Seminole in 1952 from Fort Worth. She was a 
member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jack Lavender of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-
grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Dolores Valeriano
FORT STOCKTON - Dolores R. Valeriano, 72, of Fort Stockton, a retired employee 
of Pecos County, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the 
Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at the Fort Stockton Catholic 
Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Coyame, Mexico, and had been a resident of Carlsbad, N.M., before 
moving to Fort Stockton 38 years ago. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ramon Valeriano of Fort Stockton and Rene Valeriano of Bryan; 
daughters, Felipa Bernard of San Angelo and Maria Carrillo of Odessa; sisters, 
Cayetana Franco of Coyame and Graciella Valeriano of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico; and 
brothers, Jose Valeriano and Vicente Valeriano, both of Jal, N.M., Tiodoro 
Valeriano of Hobbs, N.M., and Liandro Valeriano of Chihuahua, Mexico.

Terry Yarbrough
ODESSA - Terry Yarbrough, 39, of Odessa, owner of TKN Services, died Tuesday, 
June 4, 2002, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the 
Rev. Gale Wilson officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Muncie, Ind., and moved to Odessa in 1981. 
SURVIVORS: Wife, Kendra Yarbrough of Odessa; daughters, Nicole Yarbrough and 
Kyla Yarbrough, both of Odessa; parents, Bob and Nona Yarbrough of Indiana; 
sisters, Dawn Sheveland of Kentucky, Jane Mayo of Florida and Simone Schoettmer 
of Indiana; and brothers, Nicky Yarbrough of Colorado and Rick Taylor of 
Indiana.

Truman Reed
ODESSA - Truman Grace Reed, 78, of Odessa died Thursday, June 6, 2002, at the 
Hospice House.
