Lytta Brasfield
ODESSA - Lytta A. Brasfield, 73, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Thursday, June 6, 
2002, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial 
will follow at Denver City Memorial Cemetery in Denver City. Arrangements by 
Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Wilson, Ark., and moved to Odessa in 1996 from Mississippi.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Betty Bunch, Barbara Young and Evelyn Jean Sykes, all of 
Odessa, Ann Hartman of Plains, Lisa Bowen and Teresa Hall, both of Ashdown, 
Ark.; sons, Wilton Brasfield Sr. of Brownfield, Donald Brasfield of Firth, Neb., 
Ernest Brasfield of Texas and Bobby Bunch of Odessa; sisters, Wilma Patterson of 
Illinois and Nancy Van Pelt of Parkin, Ark.; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-
grandchildren.

Thomas Loughland
ODESSA - Thomas Albert Loughland, 79, of Odessa, a retired field service 
engineer, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at the Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the 
Rev. Owen Sharp officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Long Beach, Calif. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Doris Loughland of Odessa; daughters, Vickie Mercado of San 
Clemente, Calif., and Tammi Peters of Garrettsville, Ohio; brothers, Robert 
Loughland of Sunset Beach, Calif., and James Loughland of Kingman, Ariz.; 
sister, Joan Hawkins of Seattle; four grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.

Albert Ramirez
MONAHANS - Albert Ramirez, 26, of Monahans, a carpenter, died Wednesday, June 5, 
2002, in El Paso.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. John's Catholic Church with the 
Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at the Monahans Cemetery. 
Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Crane.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Rosalinda Contereras Ramirez of Monahans; stepfather, Jesus 
O. Dominguez of Monahans; stepmother, Blanca Contereras of Cloves, Calif.; 
brothers, Noel Ramirez of Fort Stockton, Joe Ramirez and Gilbert Ramirez, both 
of Monahans; sisters, Sildia Alvarado and Nirma Flores, both of Monahans; and 
grandfather, Camarino Contereras of Cloves.

Truman Reed
ODESSA - Truman Grace Reed, 78, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Thursday, June 6, 
2002, at the Hospice House.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the 
Rev. Steve Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 
Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Loraine and moved to Odessa in 1948 from Colorado City. She was 
a member of the Assembly of God Church.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Brenda K. French of Odessa; seven grandchildren; and 14 
great-grandchildren.

Evelyn Reeves
FORT STOCKTON - Evelyn B. Reeves, 86, of Fort Stockton, a retired government 
employee, died Thursday, June 6, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathan 
McBride officiating. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort 
Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Barstow and was a resident of Fort Stockton for 76 years. She 
was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, George Reeves of Fort Stockton; sons, Dwain Reeves, Randy 
Reeves and Richard Reeves, all of Fort Stockton; eight grandchildren; and six 
great-grandchildren.

Janie Jordan
ODESSA - Janie Lois Jordan, 59, of Odessa died Friday, June 7, 2002, at Medical 
Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.
