Daniel Casbeer
MIDLAND - Daniel "Dan" Richard Casbeer, 86, of Midland, a retired plumber, died 
Sunday, June 16, 2002, at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will 
be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Snyder. He was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Nadine Turner of San Angelo; sisters, Mary Trice of 
Wasilla, Alaska, Leona Hargrove of Jonestown, Nora Thornhill, Faye Vasbinder and 
Dessie Wilson, all of Midland; brother, Virgil Casbeer of Midland; and three 
grandchildren.

Troy Goodwin
SEMINOLE - Troy Richard Lane Goodwin, 61, of Seminole, a field operator for 
Great Plains Water Co., died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at Permian General 
Hospital in Andrews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Westside Church of Christ with David 
Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Gaines County Cemetery South. 
Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Harrisburg, Ark., and was a resident of Seminole for 35 years. He 
was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Joy Goodwin of Seminole; daughters, Terri Berry and Jan Spears, 
both of Seminole, Wanda Latimer of Jacksboro and Darcy Ward of Lubbock; 
brothers, Fred Lane of Melton, Fla., Alfred Goodwin of Cushman, Ark., Charlie 
Goodwin of Stratham, N.H., and Garland Goodwin of Las Vegas; sister, Kathryn 
Coffman of Bono, Ark.; and 12 grandchildren.

Virgie Johnson
ODESSA - Virgie John Johnson, 90, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 16, 
2002, at Deerings Nursing Home. 
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the 
Rev. Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Good Pine, La.
SURVIVORS: Sons, John Clay Jr. of Cleburne and Robert Daniels of Waco; 
daughters, Vertie Fulks of Odessa, Vera Buckloo of Cleburne and Rosie Clay of 
Abilene; sisters, Martha White of Kountze and Alice Hubert of Lake Charles, La.; 
numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-
grandchildren.

Freida Morris
FORT STOCKTON - Freida D. Morris, 97, of Fort Stockton, a retired bank 
secretary, died Monday, June 17, 2002, in Fort Stockton. 
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at East Hill Cemetery with the 
Rev. Dr. Jim Miles officiating. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Liberal, Kan., and was a lifelong resident of Fort Stockton. She 
was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Niece, the Rev. Dr. Fane Downs of Buffalo Gap; and nephew, Dr. 
William Downs of Orange Grove.

Zohra Roberson
MONAHANS - Zohra Marihma Walker Roberson, an infant, of Monahans died Friday, 
June 14, 2002, at Westwood Medical Center in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. 
Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in Midland.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Damita Walker of Monahans; father, Anthony Roberson of 
Breckenridge; brother, Javon Brown of Monahans; sisters, Lazelda Walker, Takhria 
Walker and Zante Roberson, all of Monahans; and grandparents, Willie Walker of 
Odessa and Hattie Ervin of Monahans.

Genaro Moncayo
ANDREWS - Genaro A. Moncayo, 9, of Odessa died Sunday, June 16, 2002, at Permian 
General Hospital in Andrews.
