Charles Bruce
SEMINOLE - Charles Ray Bruce, 72, of Seminole, owner and operator of B&B Fuel 
Co., died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, in Seminole.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lonny 
Poe officiating. Burial will follow at the Gaines County Cemetery. Arrangements 
by Ratliff Funeral Home.
He was born in Anton. He was an Army veteran. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Naomi Bruce of Seminole; son, Charles Ray Bruce Jr. of Houston; 
daughters, Becky Lynn Bruce of Boston and Debby Dee Bowen of Dallas; brother, 
James W. Bruce of Norman, Okla.; sisters, Jean Barnett of Fort Stockton and 
Joyce Kasierski of Princeton, Wis.; and three grandchildren.

Mya Carrillo
ODESSA - Mya Jasmin Vasquez Carrillo, an infant, of Odessa died Tuesday, June 
18, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. today at Babyland Rose Hill Cemetery with 
the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home 
Angeles Memorial Chapel.
SURVIVORS: Father, Teofilo Ruben Carrillo of Odessa; mother, Isabel Vasquez of 
Odessa; and grandparents, Teresa Mondragon, Socorro Vasquez, Maria G. Soto and 
Ruben Carrillo, all of Odessa.

Roy Davis
COLORADO CITY - Roy Blake Davis, 38, of Weatherford, a self-employed driller, 
died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, in Lubbock.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Wayne Horton officiating. Arrangements by Resthaven Funeral Home.
He was born in Pecos.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Tammy Davis of Weatherford; daughter, Shelbi Davis of 
Weatherford; mother, Kay Kerr of Yuma, Ariz.; father, M.A. "Pinky" Davis of 
Salinas, Calif.; and sister, Deborah Giangreco of Yuma.

George Jones
ODESSA - George Edward Jones, 86, of Odessa, a retired professor, died Tuesday, 
June 18, 2002, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village. 
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with the 
Rev. Steve Trout officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 
Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Greenville. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Margaret Waggener Jones of Odessa; sons, David E. Jones of 
Denver and Carl Phillip Jones of Odessa; and two grandchildren.

Justo Rios
ODESSA - Justo Garcia Rios, 30, of Odessa, a derrick hand in the oil industry, 
died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. 
Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with 
the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at 
Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Rose Hill 
Cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Vado de Piedra, Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Nola Denise Rodriguez of Odessa; son, Justin Rafael Rios of 
Odessa; daughter, Diana Karely Rios of Artesia, N.M.; father, Rafael Rios of 
Odessa; brother, Cesar Rios of Odessa; sisters, Flor Rios and Maria R. Loya, 
both of Odessa; and grandparents, Carmen Orona de Rios, Jesus Garcia and Juana 
Olivas de Garcia, all of Ojinaga, Mexico.

M.V. Arnold
ODESSA - M.V. Arnold, 82, of Odessa died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at his 
residence.

ODESSA - Elida Orona, 63, of Odessa died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at her 
residence.
