Miguel Chavez Sr.
BARSTOW - Miguel Chavez Sr., 68, of Odessa, a construction worker, died Sunday, July 
7, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. 
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel. 
Burial will be at the Barstow Cemetery. Arrangements by Peaceful Garden Funeral 
Home.
He was born in Candelaria. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Dorothy Chavez of Odessa; son, Miguel Chavez Jr. of Pecos; 
daughters, Elsa Palomino of Pecos and Patricia Nunez of Odessa; brothers, Pete 
Chavez of Balmorhea, Francisco Chavez of Odessa, Ricardo Chavez of Big Spring, Chico 
Chavez of Artesia, N.M., and Abel Chavez of Pecos; sisters, Rosa Dominguez of Pecos 
and Petra Porras of Arizona; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Doris J. Davis, 61, of Odessa died Monday, July 8, 2002, at Medical Center 
Hospital.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.
