ODESSA - John Contrerras Aguilar, 73, of Odessa, a retired trucker, died Friday, 
July 12, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mitchell Cemetery near Cisco. 
Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
He was born in Cameron.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Paula Aguilar of Odessa; sons, Casey Aguilar and Tony Aguilar, 
both 
of Odessa; brother, Tony Aguilar of Vernon; and sisters, Gladys Salinas and Vera 
Garcia, both of Corpus Christi, Dora Law of Denver, Colo., and Alice Edmonson of 
Cameron.

Ella Hendrix-Butler
ODESSA - Ella Faye Hendrix-Butler, 69, of Odessa died Saturday, July 13, 2002.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Chapel with the Rev. 
Walter 
Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements 
by 
Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Covington County, Ala.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Billy Hendrix of Paris and Larry Hendrix of Midland; daughters, 
Gwen Hughes of Red Level, Ala., and Shelia Hendrix of Midland; sisters, Betsy 
Cunningham of Montgomery, Ala., and Mae La Croix of Odessa; brothers, Hilton 
Edson 
of Odessa, George Edson of Nacona and Orbie Edson of Odessa; and 11 
grandchildren.
