Schyler Lee Fain
FORT STOCKTON - Schyler Lee Fain, 4, son of Julie Fain of Fort Stockton, died 
Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Revs. 
Jim Miles and David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at Easthill Cemetery. 
Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Mother; grandparents, Holly Johnson of Ruidoso, N.M., and Carry Lee 
Shepard of Monahans; and great-grandparents, Odas Ward Jr. and Jackey Ward of 
Fort Stockton.

Emma Gary
MONAHANS - Emma Josephine Gary, 80, of Monahans, a food service manager, died 
Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Monahans Memorial Cemetery with 
the Rev. Larry Bennett officiating. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services.
She was born in Spiro, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Son, Dale Gary of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.

James Goble
GLADEWATER - James A. Goble, 87, of Abilene, a retired Amaco oilfield pumper, 
died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, in Abilene.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rock Springs Cemetery with the 
Rev. H.G. Barnard officiating. Arrangements by Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
He was born in Sullivan, Ind., and was a resident of Odessa. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Darlene West of Abilene; son, James B. Goble of Chula 
Vista, Calif.; brother, Paul A. Goble of Longview; numerous grandchildren; 
numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Willie M. Batie, 61, of Odessa died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at Medical 
Center Hospital.

PECOS - Rita Carrasco, 79, of Pecos died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at a Lubbock 
hospital.
